Micafungin Sodium inhibits the synthesis of fungal cell wall β-1,3-D-glucan, destroying cell wall integrity and causing fungal lysis. It shows potent antibacterial activity against nearly all clinical pathogenic candida strains and partial activity against aspergillus.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Administered only by intravenous infusion after reconstitution and dilution.50mg once daily, infuse slowly over 1 hour.

Time: Administer intravenous infusion once daily, each infusion lasts at least 1 hour, slow drip is required.

Interaction: No significant interaction with most immunosuppressants; monitor liver function when combined with hepatotoxic drugs.

Side effects: Abnormal liver function, nausea, vomiting, headache, injection site reaction.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.

The cure rate for micafungin was found to be dose-dependent, with the 50, 100, and 150 mg groups achieving cure rates of 69%, 77%, and 90%.
