Indication & Scope
Keverprazan Hydrochloride Tablets (Beiwen) are indicated for the treatment of duodenal ulcer and reflux esophagitis.
- Mechanism
As a potassium-competitive acid blocker, it selectively inhibits gastric H+/K+-ATPase to suppress gastric acid secretion, rapidly relieve acid-related symptoms and promote mucosal healing. - Drug class
Chemical synthetic anti-ulcer agent, potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB). - Clinical use
Phase III clinical trials confirmed its good efficacy and safety in acid-related diseases; administered orally once daily with flexible dosing course according to disease conditions.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: 10 mg once daily by oral administration. Duodenal ulcer patients take the drug for 4 weeks, and reflux esophagitis patients take it for 8 weeks.
Time: Take on an empty stomach once daily at a fixed time; no adjustment of administration time is needed for meals.
Interaction:Avoid combined use with other acid-suppressing agents. Concomitant use with antibiotics is allowed for Helicobacter pylori eradication. No intravenous administration, for oral use only.
Side effects: Mild and transient reactions commonly occur: diarrhea, abdominal distension, nausea, headache and dizziness. Rare adverse reactions include elevated liver enzymes and rash; severe adverse reactions are extremely uncommon.
Important Notice
This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
