huatangning dorzagliatin tablets 75mg

Description

 Indication & Scope

Dorzagliatin Tablets (MYHOMSIS) is an oral glucose homeostasis regulator indicated to improve glycemic control in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It can be used as monotherapy combined with diet and exercise for treatment-naive patients, or combined with metformin for patients with inadequate glycemic control on metformin alone.
  • Mechanism
As an allosteric full activator of glucokinase (GK), it targets GK in pancreatic islets, intestinal endocrine cells and liver. It restores impaired glucose-sensing function, boosts glucose-stimulated insulin and GLP-1 secretion, alleviates insulin resistance and reconstructs physiological blood glucose steady-state regulation.
  • Drug class
Class 1 innovative chemical drug, first-in-class oral glucokinase activator (GKA), novel anti-diabetic agent for type 2 diabetes.
    Clinical use
  • Clinical use
Phase III clinical trials demonstrated significant HbA1c reduction and favorable safety profile with extremely low hypoglycemia risk. Clinically administered orally at 75 mg twice daily within 1 hour before breakfast and dinner. It is the world’s first approved GKA independently developed in China.
