Clenil® Beclometasone Dipropionate Suspension for Inhalation provides long-term anti-inflammatory control of persistent asthma via nebulized inhalation for adults and children.
- Mechanism: Topical inhaled corticosteroid that penetrates airway mucosa to suppress inflammatory cell infiltration, cytokine release and mucosal edema, reducing chronic bronchial inflammation.
- Drug class: Nebulized inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), anti-asthmatic anti-inflammatory agent.
- Clinical use: Daily maintenance anti-inflammatory therapy for persistent asthma unsuitable for dry powder inhalers.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: 0.5–1mg twice daily via nebulization, diluted with normal saline if needed.
Time: Morning and evening twice daily for continuous maintenance.
Instructions for use: Shake the vial thoroughly before opening; add to the nebulizer cup with or without saline; rinse mouth thoroughly after nebulization.
Interaction: CYP3A4 inhibitors slightly increase systemic absorption; no interaction with bronchodilators.
Side effects:
1. Common: hoarseness, oral candidiasis, mild throat irritation.
2. Rare: mild systemic cortisol suppression at high long-term doses.
