Indication & Scope

Okamoto® is a non-prescription natural rubber latex condom indicated for contraception and for reducing the risk of transmission of certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs) when used correctly and consistently throughout sexual intercourse. It provides a physical barrier that helps prevent pregnancy by blocking sperm from entering the vagina and may reduce the risk of exposure to pathogens associated with HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and other sexually transmitted infections. It is intended for single use only and does not provide 100% protection against pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases.

Mechanism: Forms a physical barrier that prevents sperm from entering the female reproductive tract and reduces direct exposure to bodily fluids that may transmit sexually transmitted infections.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Use one new condom for each act of sexual intercourse.

Time: Put on before any genital contact and remove immediately after ejaculation while holding the base of the condom.

Instructions for use: Carefully open the package, pinch the reservoir tip to remove trapped air, roll the condom onto the erect penis before intercourse, and discard after single use. Do not reuse.

Interaction: Use only water-based lubricants. Oil-based products such as petroleum jelly, baby oil, massage oil, or lotions may damage latex and increase the risk of breakage.

Side effects: Rare adverse reactions include latex allergy, local irritation, itching, rash, or discomfort. Discontinue use if allergic reactions occur.
