Recommended Dose: Adults should take 5 mg orally once daily. If symptoms remain inadequately controlled and the medication is well tolerated, the dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily, which is the maximum recommended daily dose.

Time: Take once daily at the same time each day, with or without food.

Instructions for use: Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew. Patients with severe renal impairment, moderate hepatic impairment, or those receiving strong CYP3A4 inhibitors should not exceed 5 mg daily. Continue treatment as directed by your healthcare provider.

Interaction: Strong Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, and clarithromycin) increase solifenacin exposure. Concomitant use with other anticholinergic agents may increase adverse effects. Caution is advised when used with medications that prolong the QT interval.

Rare but serious reactions include angioedema, severe allergic reactions, QT prolongation, and acute urinary retention.
