Indication & Scope
WanHanLiangLi® Oseltamivir Phosphate Capsules is used for the treatment of influenza A and B in adults and children aged 1 year and above; also applicable for influenza prevention.
- Mechanism: Oseltamivir phosphate is a selective influenza virus neuraminidase inhibitor. It inhibits the activity of viral neuraminidase, blocks the release and spread of newly replicated influenza viruses in host cells, reduces virus proliferation, shortens influenza course and reduces infection risk.
- Drug class: Prescription systemic anti-influenza viral drug.
- Clinical use: Clinically used for early treatment of influenza A and B infection to relieve fever, soreness and respiratory symptoms; applied for post-exposure preventive medication of influenza virus.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: For treatment: 75 mg each time, twice a day for 5 consecutive days for adults. For prevention: 75 mg once a day for 7 to 10 consecutive days. Pediatric dosage adjusted by age and weight.
Time: Take within 48 hours after influenza symptom onset for optimal therapeutic effect; preventive medication taken regularly at fixed time daily.
Instructions for use: For oral use only. Strictly follow dosage and course of treatment. Early medication within 48 hours of symptom onset ensures best curative effect.
Interaction: No significant adverse drug interactions with common antipyretic and anti-inflammatory drugs. No obvious interaction with influenza vaccine.
Side effects: Mild and transient adverse reactions including occasional nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and headache. Rare rash, fatigue and mild abnormal liver function, which recover after drug withdrawal.
