Terbutaline Sulfate Inhalation Solution provides nebulized relief of bronchospasm in asthma, COPD and asthmatic bronchitis for adults and children.

Mechanism: Selective β2 agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle to relieve acute and persistent bronchoconstriction via nebulized local airway delivery.
Drug class: Short-acting β2 agonist, nebulized bronchodilator.
Clinical use: Nebulization treatment for moderate bronchospasm unsuitable for pressurized inhalers.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: 2.5mg diluted with normal saline for single nebulization, up to 3 times daily.

Time: Every 6–8 hours as needed for persistent bronchospasm.

Instructions for use: Dilute with sterile normal saline before adding to the nebulizer cup; inhale mist slowly until the solution is fully nebulized.

Interaction: Beta-blockers inhibit bronchodilation; combined theophylline increases tremor risk.

Side effects:

1. Common: mild tremor, palpitations, nervousness.

2. Rare: dry mouth, headache.
