Indication & Scope
QiMaiTe® is a prescription opioid analgesic indicated for the management of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain, including postoperative pain, cancer pain, trauma-related pain, and other conditions requiring injectable analgesia when non-opioid therapy is inadequate.
- Mechanism: Tramadol is a centrally acting analgesic that weakly stimulates μ-opioid receptors while inhibiting the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin, providing dual-pathway pain relief.
- Drug class: Centrally acting opioid analgesic.
- Clinical use: Management of moderate to severe acute or chronic pain, including postoperative, cancer-related, traumatic, and musculoskeletal pain.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Adults: 50–100 mg administered by intramuscular, subcutaneous, or slow intravenous injection every 4–6 hours as needed. The maximum recommended daily dose is generally 400 mg.
Time: Administer every 4–6 hours as needed. For intravenous administration, inject slowly over at least 2 minutes.
Instructions for use: Administer only under medical supervision. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary. Reduce the dose gradually if long-term therapy is discontinued.
Interaction: Avoid concomitant use with alcohol, benzodiazepines, MAO inhibitors, other opioids, and serotonergic drugs because of the increased risk of respiratory depression, excessive sedation, or serotonin syndrome.
Side effects: Common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, sweating, constipation, and headache. Serious adverse reactions include respiratory depression, seizures, serotonin syndrome, hypotension, and drug dependence.
