Indication & Scope
Zepolas® is a prescription topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, periarthritis of the shoulder, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), muscle pain, and traumatic swelling or pain.
- Mechanism: Flurbiprofen inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2), reducing prostaglandin synthesis to relieve pain and inflammation.
- Drug class: Topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
- Clinical use: Local treatment of musculoskeletal pain and inflammatory conditions.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Apply one plaster to the affected area twice daily.
Time: Replace every 12 hours (morning and evening).
Instructions for use: Apply to clean, dry, intact skin only. Do not apply to wounds, mucous membranes, or irritated skin.
Interaction: Avoid concurrent extensive use with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids due to increased risk of adverse effects.
Side effects: Common adverse reactions include skin irritation, itching, redness, rash, and contact dermatitis.
