Quetiapine Fumarate reversibly binds D2, 5-HT2A, H1 and α receptors. It relieves psychotic and depressive symptoms with mild extrapyramidal risks and strong sedation.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Initial 300 mg on Day 1, titrate gradually to target dose 400–800 mg once daily at bedtime.

Time: Long-term maintenance treatment required for recurrent psychosis and bipolar disorder; gradual dose tapering before discontinuation to avoid withdrawal reactions.

Interaction: Combination with sedatives, alcohol or antidepressants enhances central nervous system depression risk; monitor blood glucose and lipids with long-term co-medication.

Side effects: Somnolence, dizziness, dry mouth, orthostatic hypotension, appetite increase, weight gain.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
