 Indication & Scope

PaiShuNing® Senaparib Capsules treatsr adult patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer or primary peritoneal cancer who achieve complete or partial remission after first-line platinum-based chemotherapy.

  • Mechanism: It is a selective PARP1 and PARP2 inhibitor, which blocks the DNA damage repair function of tumor cells with homologous recombination defects, causes synthetic lethality, and induces the apoptosis of cancer cells.
  • Drug class: Oral poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitor, anti-tumor prescription medicine.
  • Clinical use: It is used for maintenance treatment after platinum chemotherapy for ovarian, fallopian tube and primary peritoneal cancer to effectively prolong the progression-free survival period of patients.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: 100mg taken orally once a day.

 

Time: Start medication within 8 weeks after the end of platinum-based chemotherapy, and take medicine continuously every day until disease progression or unmanageable toxic reactions occur.

 

Instructions for use: Take the capsule orally and swallow it whole. It can be taken with or without food, and no dose adjustment is required for patients with mild to moderate liver and kidney impairment.

 

Interaction: Moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors will increase the systemic exposure of senaparib, and strong CYP3A4 inducers will reduce the efficacy of the drug, so combined use is not recommended.

 

Side effects: Anemia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, elevated serum creatinine and headache.
