Motrin® Ibuprofen Suspension relieves fever symptoms of children caused by common cold and influenza; alleviates children’s mild to moderate pain including headache, toothache and joint pain.
- Mechanism: Rapidly inhibits prostaglandin synthesis through cyclooxygenase inhibition, achieves fast fever reduction and pain relief, with gentle efficacy adapting to children’s physical tolerance.
- Drug class: Pediatric oral non-steroidal antipyretic and analgesic suspension.
- Clinical use: Routine symptomatic treatment of fever and mild pain in school-age children and young children.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Children aged 2-12 years old, dosage adjusted by age and weight, single dose administered every 6-8 hours, maximum 4 administrations daily.
Time: Symptom-based interval administration, post-meal use reduces gastrointestinal irritation.
Instructions for use: Shake thoroughly before use, take orally with graduated cup, do not exceed recommended maximum daily dose.
Interaction: Concomitant use with other antipyretic analgesics increases gastrointestinal injury risk; avoid combination with hormone drugs.
Side effects: Occasional mild nausea, abdominal discomfort and fatigue; rare allergic rash and mild edema.
