Indication & Scope
Sodium valproate elevates brain GABA concentration and blocks abnormal neuronal electrical discharge to suppress epileptic seizures. It stabilizes mood by regulating central glutamatergic and GABAergic pathways for bipolar mania control.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: 10–15mg/kg daily, titrate up to 20–30mg/kg; maximum daily dose 3000mg.
Time: Long-term maintenance to prevent seizure recurrence; gradual dose tapering is mandatory before discontinuation to avoid life-threatening status epilepticus.
Interaction: Valproate inhibits CYP2C9, CYP2C19 and CYP3A4; combined carbamazepine, lamotrigine, warfarin need dose adjustment and blood concentration monitoring. Avoid combined hepatotoxic drugs.
Side effects: Gastrointestinal discomfort, tremor, weight gain, transient liver enzyme elevation, hair loss.
Important Notice
This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
