Indication & Scope
TaiJi®/DuSheng® LiDanPaiShiPian clears heat and eliminates dampness, promotes gallbladder function and expels gallstones. Used for hypochondriac pain and gallbladder distension caused by damp-heat toxin accumulation and blocked fu-qi; applicable for cholecystitis and cholelithiasis with above symptoms.
- Mechanism: Lysimachia christinae and capillary artemisia clear damp-heat and promote gallbladder excretion; scutellaria baicalensis clears internal heat; Aucklandia root and curcuma root regulate qi and relieve hypochondriac pain; rhubarb, mirabilite and magnolia bark purge fu-heat, unblock intestinal and biliary tract stagnation, promote gallstone excretion and eliminate biliary tract inflammation.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: 4 to 6 tablets each time, 3 times a day for oral administration.
Time: Take after meals to reduce gastrointestinal stimulation caused by purgative ingredients.
Instructions for use: For oral use only. Avoid greasy, spicy and high-cholesterol food during medication. Do not use for a long time; recheck biliary tract condition regularly.
Interaction: Concurrent use of other heat-clearing and purgative traditional Chinese medicines may aggravate gastrointestinal peristalsis and cause diarrhea. No obvious adverse interaction with common anti-inflammatory drugs.
Side effects: Occasional mild abdominal diarrhea and intestinal gurgling due to purgative ingredients. Individual cases may experience mild stomach distension, which relieves after dosage reduction or drug withdrawal.
