Description
Indication & Scope
BeiJieMai® (Pimicotinib Hydrochloride) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with symptomatic tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT) in whom surgical resection is likely to result in functional limitation or severe morbidity.
- Mechanism: Pimicotinib is a highly selective colony-stimulating factor-1 receptor (CSF-1R) inhibitor. It selectively inhibits CSF-1R signaling, reducing the accumulation of CSF-1R-dependent macrophages within the tumor microenvironment, thereby decreasing tumor burden and improving disease-related symptoms.
- Drug Class: CSF-1R Inhibitor.
- Clinical Use: First-line systemic treatment for adult patients with symptomatic TGCT who are not suitable candidates for surgery or whose surgery may result in severe functional impairment.
