Indication & Scope
MaiLiSheng® Albipagrastim Alfa for Injection reduces the incidence of chemotherapy-induced neutropenia in adult patients with non-myeloid malignant tumors receiving myelosuppressive chemotherapy.
- Mechanism: A long-acting recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF). It binds to receptors on bone marrow granulocyte progenitor cells, stimulates proliferation and differentiation of neutrophils, and accelerates neutrophil recovery after chemotherapy suppression.
- Drug class: Recombinant hematopoietic growth factor, injectable prescription biologic drug.
- Clinical use: Prophylactic treatment for chemotherapy-related neutropenia to lower febrile neutropenia risk and chemotherapy delay rates.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Single fixed weight-based subcutaneous injection once per chemotherapy cycle.
Time: Administered 24 hours after the completion of myelosuppressive chemotherapy.
Instructions for use: Reconstitute powder with sterile water for injection; subcutaneous injection is preferred; intravenous slow drip is acceptable for hospitalized patients. Do not administer within 24 hours before chemotherapy.
Interaction: Concurrent use with chemotherapy drugs directly counteracts efficacy and is forbidden; no major interactions with supportive anti-emetic or anti-tumor auxiliary drugs.
Side effects: Mild bone pain, myalgia, injection site erythema, fatigue; rare splenomegaly and leukocytosis.
