Ebastine, a second-generation peripheral H1 antihistamine barely crossing the blood-brain barrier, blocks peripheral H1 receptors to ease itch, nasal congestion and swelling with little drowsiness.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Adults and adolescents aged over 12 years old: 1 tablet (10mg) taken orally once daily, independent of meals.

 

Time: Oral once daily, no food restriction.

 

Interaction: It is metabolized via CYP3A4; co-administration with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole and erythromycin will moderately increase plasma concentration, which does not cause obvious clinical safety risks.

 

Side effects: Dry mouth, mild headache, slight fatigue, rare mild drowsiness.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
