How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Oral administration, swallow whole, take consistently with or without food.
Time: Once daily, administered at the same time every day.
Instructions for use: Regular monitoring of sirolimus trough concentration, blood lipid and renal function. Caution for patients with poor wound healing. Effective contraception is mandatory during treatment.
Interaction: Agents affecting CYP3A4 alter sirolimus blood concentration; regular trough concentration monitoring is required. Combined use with other immunosuppressants increases infection risk.
Side effects: Hyperlipidaemia, peripheral oedema, hypertension, stomatitis, anaemia.
