YiNuoQing® Efsubaglutide Alfa Injection contributes to blood glucose control in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
- Mechanism: It is a long-acting recombinant GLP-1 receptor agonist fused with IgG2 Fc fragment. It stimulates insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner, inhibits glucagon release, delays gastric emptying and reduces appetite to lower blood sugar.
- Drug class: Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist, injectable hypoglycemic prescription medicine.
- Clinical use: It can be used as monotherapy or combined with metformin to reduce glycated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose and postprandial blood glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: The initial dose for monotherapy is 1mg once a week, and the dose can be increased to 3mg once a week if blood sugar control is not ideal; the conventional combined dose with metformin is 3mg once a week.
Time: Fixed weekly administration time, which can be injected at any time of the day without being affected by meals.
Instructions for use: Subcutaneous injection into the abdomen, thigh or upper arm, and the injection site needs to be rotated regularly. Intravenous injection and intramuscular injection are forbidden.
Interaction: It will delay the absorption rate of oral drugs, and the risk of hypoglycemia will increase when combined with insulin, sulfonylureas and glinides.
Side effects: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, injection site reactions, decreased appetite, fatigue, and hypoglycemia when combined with other hypoglycemic drugs.
