Amphotericin B binds to ergosterol on fungal cell membrane to form transmembrane pores, leading to leakage of intracellular contents and fungal death. It has strong broad-spectrum activity against almost all pathogenic fungi.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Intravenous drip only, reconstitute with sterile water then dilute in glucose injection.

 

Time: Slow intravenous infusion over 6 hours, avoid rapid injection.

 

Interaction: Combined nephrotoxic drugs (aminoglycosides, ciclosporin) will aggravate kidney damage; avoid concurrent use if possible.

 

Side effects: Chills, fever, renal function damage, hypokalemia, nausea and vomiting.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
