Indication & Scope

Ranitidine Hydrochloride Capsules (LeiLiYa®) is a second-generation H2 receptor antagonist. It selectively blocks histamine H2 receptors on gastric parietal cells, significantly inhibiting basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion, reducing gastric acidity, relieving acid-related symptoms and promoting ulcer healing.

Mechanism
It competitively inhibits histamine H2 receptors to reduce gastric acid secretion, lowering gastric acid concentration and protecting the gastric and esophageal mucosa.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Oral administration, 1 capsule (150mg) twice daily, taken in the morning and before bedtime; maintenance dose: 1 capsule once nightly. Adjust dosage for patients with renal impairment as directed by a doctor.

Time: Morning and before bedtime, with a full glass of water.

Interaction: May affect drugs metabolized by the liver such as warfarin, diazepam and propranolol; monitor closely when combined with these medicines.

Side effects: Nausea, constipation, rash, fatigue, headache, dizziness; rare liver function impairment, mental confusion and gynecomastia with long-term use. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if adverse reactions occur.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
