 Indication & Scope

Crizotinib Capsules (Xalkori®) is first-generation multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It selectively inhibits ALK, ROS1 and c-MET kinase activity, blocks downstream cell proliferation signal pathways, suppresses growth and metastasis of ALK/ROS1 fusion-positive lung tumor cells.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Standard dose: 250mg oral twice daily, swallow whole capsule, with or without food;Severe renal impairment (CLcr<30mL/min, non-dialysis): 250mg once daily;Dose reduction: 1st:200mg twice daily; 2nd:250mg once daily; discontinue permanently if intolerable

 

Time: Continuous administration until disease progression or intolerable toxicity; test ALK/ROS1 positivity before treatment

 

Interaction: Avoid strong CYP3A4 inhibitors/inducers, QT-prolonging drugs and bradycardia-inducing agents

 

Side effects: Visual disturbance, nausea, diarrhea, edema, elevated liver enzymes, fatigue, bradycardia; severe risks include hepatotoxicity, interstitial lung disease, QT prolongation

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
