Indication & Scope

Infliximab for Injection (Remicade®) is a chimeric anti-TNF-α monoclonal antibody. It binds and neutralizes tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), reducing excessive inflammatory responses, immune overactivation and tissue damage.

Specifically binds to TNF-α, blocks its inflammatory signaling, suppresses chronic immune inflammation.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Intravenous infusion, 5 mg/kg. Induction: at week 0, 2, 6; maintenance: every 8 weeks thereafter. Infuse over at least 2 hours with an in-line filter.

Time: Administered under medical supervision by slow IV infusion according to the scheduled regimen.

Interaction: Concurrent use with other immunosuppressants may increase infection risk; avoid live vaccines during treatment.

Side effects: Infusion reactions, headache, fatigue, upper respiratory infection, rash; serious risks include severe infection, tuberculosis, fungal infection, malignancy and liver injury.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
