FAQ
What is the core anti-tumor mechanism of carboplatin?
Cross-link with tumor cell DNA to damage DNA and block cell division.
What is the difference between carboplatin and cisplatin?
Carboplatin has weaker nephrotoxicity and emetic response, more obvious thrombocytopenia.
What solvent is used to dilute carboplatin?
5% glucose injection, normal saline is not recommended.
What is the main dose-limiting adverse reaction of carboplatin?
Thrombocytopenia (bone marrow suppression).
