Keliqing® Povidone Iodine Solution is an OTC topical antiseptic indicated for skin, mucosal, and gynecological disinfection. It is used for the treatment and prevention of bacterial, fungal, and Trichomonas vaginitis, vulvar itching, abnormal vaginal discharge, skin infections, minor burns, superficial wounds, and preoperative skin or mucosal antisepsis.
- Mechanism: Povidone iodine gradually releases free iodine, which destroys bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa, and spores by denaturing microbial proteins.
- Drug Class: Broad-spectrum topical antiseptic and disinfectant.
- Clinical Use: Gynecological cleansing, skin wound disinfection, superficial burn care, and mucosal antisepsis.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose:Vaginal irrigation / vulvar cleansing: Dilute 1 part solution with 20 parts warm water, then irrigate or cleanse 1–2 times daily for 7 days, or as directed.Skin wounds, burns, or dermatitis: Apply the undiluted solution directly to the affected area 1–2 times daily.Oral or perianal mucosa: Dilute 1:50 with water before rinsing or applying. Do not swallow.
Time: Use according to the recommended schedule. Vaginal cleansing may be performed during menstruation if necessary.
Instructions for use: This product is for external use only. Vaginal and mucosal applications must be diluted before use. Avoid contact with the eyes. Discontinue use if persistent irritation or allergic reactions occur.
Interaction: Do not use simultaneously with mercury-containing preparations, alkalis, reducing agents, starch products, or sodium thiosulfate, as these may reduce antiseptic activity or cause chemical reactions.
Side effects: Mild transient burning or irritation may occur at the application site. Rarely, allergic skin reactions or iodine hypersensitivity may develop.
