Indication & Scope
EXDENSUR® (Depemokimab ulaa) is a long-acting anti-interleukin-5 (IL-5) monoclonal antibody developed by GSK for the maintenance treatment of adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older with severe eosinophilic asthma. It is used as an add-on maintenance therapy in combination with standard asthma treatments.
- Mechanism: Depemokimab ulaa is a humanized IgG1-κ monoclonal antibody that binds with high affinity to IL-5, blocking IL-5 interaction with eosinophil receptors and reducing eosinophilic inflammation associated with severe asthma. The Fc-YTE modification extends its half-life, allowing less frequent dosing.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: 100 mg administered by subcutaneous injection once every 6 months.
Time: Administer every 6 months according to the approved dosing schedule.
Instructions for use: Administer by subcutaneous injection into the upper arm, thigh, or abdomen (avoiding the area within 5 cm around the navel). Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly. If a dose is missed, administer as soon as possible and restart the 6-month dosing schedule based on the new administration date.
Interaction: No clinically significant drug-drug interactions have been identified. Depemokimab may be used in combination with standard asthma therapies, including inhaled corticosteroids, long-acting β2 agonists, and leukotriene receptor antagonists.
Side effects: Common adverse reactions may include injection site reactions, pruritus, headache, and pharyngitis. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
