Agomelatine Tablets (DuWei®) are novel dual-target antidepressant: it activates melatonin MT1/MT2 receptors to restore circadian rhythm and sleep, while blocking 5-HT2C receptors to raise brain norepinephrine and dopamine levels, alleviating depression, anhedonia and fatigue without the sexual side effects or dependence seen in conventional antidepressants.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: 25mg once daily, oral administration before bedtime.

Time: Continuous consolidation treatment for at least 6 months after complete relief of depressive symptoms to prevent relapse; the full course is determined by psychiatric evaluation.

Interaction: Strictly prohibited to combine with strong CYP1A2 inhibitors such as fluvoxamine and ciprofloxacin, which will sharply elevate blood drug concentration and increase liver injury risk.

Side effects: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, back pain, hyperhidrosis, visual fatigue.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
