Recommended Dose: Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) three times daily. The dosage may be adjusted according to the severity of the infection. For acute bacterial keratitis, more frequent administration may be required during the initial stage of treatment.

Time: For routine infections, administer three times daily. In severe bacterial keratitis, the dosing interval may be as frequent as every 15–30 minutes initially, followed by gradual dose reduction as clinical symptoms improve.

Instructions for use: For ophthalmic use only. Instill into the conjunctival sac without allowing the dropper tip to contact the eye or surrounding surfaces. When using other ophthalmic medications, allow an interval of at least 10 minutes between applications. Remove soft contact lenses before use and reinsert them only after your healthcare provider considers it appropriate during treatment.

Interaction: No clinically significant systemic drug interactions have been reported following topical ophthalmic administration. Concurrent use with other ophthalmic preparations should be separated by an appropriate dosing interval.

Side effects: Common adverse reactions include transient blurred vision, eye irritation, burning or stinging sensation, conjunctival hyperemia, dry eye, photophobia, eyelid pruritus, eyelid edema, and superficial punctate keratitis. Less common reactions include headache and pharyngitis. Rare but serious hypersensitivity reactions, including rash, urticaria, severe eyelid swelling, dyspnea, and anaphylactic shock, may occur and require immediate discontinuation of treatment and medical attention.
