TaiPingYang® (Fluocinonide Cream) is a potent topical corticosteroid indicated for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic skin conditions, including allergic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, eczema, neurodermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. It reduces inflammation, erythema, edema, and itching associated with corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.

Mechanism: Fluocinonide binds to glucocorticoid receptors and regulates inflammatory gene expression, thereby suppressing inflammatory and allergic responses and reducing erythema, edema, and pruritus.
Drug class: Potent topical corticosteroid.
Clinical use: Short-term topical treatment of corticosteroid-responsive inflammatory and pruritic dermatoses.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily or as directed by a physician.

Time: Use for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms.

Instructions for use: Apply gently to affected skin only. Avoid the eyes, mucous membranes, and large areas of damaged skin. Do not use occlusive dressings unless specifically directed by a physician.

Interaction: No clinically significant interactions are generally expected with topical fluocinonide. When using other topical medicines on the same area, follow medical advice regarding application intervals.

Side effects: Prolonged or extensive use may cause skin atrophy, telangiectasia, folliculitis, acneiform eruptions, perioral dermatitis, and secondary skin infections. Local irritation or allergic contact dermatitis may also occur.
