KangLiang® is a prescription first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic indicated for mild infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin and soft tissue infections.

Mechanism: Cefradine inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial cell death.
Drug class: First-generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
Clinical use: Treatment of susceptible mild respiratory, urinary, and skin infections.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Adults: 250–500 mg orally every 6 hours according to infection severity.

Time: Administer 4 times daily at evenly spaced intervals, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

Instructions for use: Take orally with water. May be taken with or without food. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed.

Interaction: Probenecid may increase cefradine concentrations. Monitor patients receiving warfarin due to possible changes in anticoagulant effect.

Side effects: Common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, rash, and hypersensitivity reactions.
