Indication & Scope

XinTaiQing® is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and painful musculoskeletal disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gouty arthritis, soft tissue rheumatism, and acute mild-to-moderate pain such as postoperative pain, musculoskeletal injuries, dysmenorrhea, headache, and toothache. Its sustained-release formulation provides prolonged anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects with once-daily dosing.

Mechanism: Diclofenac sodium inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis to relieve inflammation, pain, and swelling.
Drug Class: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
Clinical Use: Management of chronic inflammatory joint diseases, soft tissue rheumatic disorders, and acute mild-to-moderate pain.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Adults should take 100 mg once daily, preferably after meals. If necessary, the dose may be increased to 100 mg twice daily under medical supervision, with a maximum daily dose of 200 mg. Elderly patients and those with hepatic or renal impairment should use the lowest effective dose.

Time: Swallow the capsule whole with water, preferably after meals. Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule.

Instructions for use: Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration. Avoid taking other NSAIDs simultaneously, and discontinue treatment if gastrointestinal bleeding, severe skin reactions, or cardiovascular symptoms occur.

Interaction: Diclofenac may increase the risk of bleeding when used with anticoagulants, reduce the effectiveness of antihypertensive agents and diuretics, and increase the toxicity of methotrexate or lithium. Concomitant use with corticosteroids or other NSAIDs increases the risk of gastrointestinal ulceration and bleeding.

Side effects: Common adverse reactions include abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, headache, dizziness, edema, and elevated liver enzymes. Serious adverse reactions include gastrointestinal bleeding, cardiovascular thrombotic events, severe hypersensitivity reactions, hepatotoxicity, and renal impairment.
