Micardis® Telmisartan Tablets treats essential hypertension for sustained blood pressure control; reduction of cardiovascular event risk in high-risk adult populations to prevent stroke, myocardial infarction and cardiovascular death.
- Mechanism: Long-acting high-selectivity angiotensin II receptor antagonist, reducing peripheral vascular resistance for 24-hour stable hypotension, improving vascular endothelial function and reducing systemic atherosclerotic risk.
- Drug class: Long-acting Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB), antihypertensive agent, cardiovascular risk preventive agent.
- Clinical use: 24-hour long-term hypertension maintenance therapy; secondary prevention of major adverse cardiovascular events in high-risk groups.

How to use ?
