Indication & Scope

Retagliptin Phosphate Tablets is an oral novel DPP-4 inhibitor for adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, applied in blood glucose regulation to improve glycemic control with diet and exercise intervention.

Mechanism
As an innovative dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor, it selectively inhibits DPP-4 to prolong endogenous GLP-1 and GIP half-life, enhancing glucose-dependent insulin secretion and suppressing glucagon release to lower postprandial and fasting blood glucose.

Class 1 innovative small-molecule chemical drug, oral DPP-4 inhibitor, therapeutic agent for diabetes mellitus.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: 25mg orally once daily. Dosing adjustment is not required based on age, gender or renal function.
Time: Administer at the same time every day, with or without meals; continuous administration is recommended for stable glycemic control.
Interaction: For oral administration only. Can be used as monotherapy or combined with metformin. No significant drug-drug interactions with common anti-diabetic agents.
Side effects: Mild, temporary reactions common: nasopharyngitis, headache, dizziness and fatigue. Rare hypoglycemia, nausea and gastrointestinal discomfort; severe adverse reactions are extremely rare.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
