MeiLeSong® is a prescription corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of allergic and autoimmune inflammatory diseases, including connective tissue disorders, systemic lupus erythematosus, polymyositis, severe bronchial asthma, dermatomyositis, vasculitis, acute leukemia, and malignant lymphoma.
- Mechanism: Prednisone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that suppresses inflammation and immune responses by regulating glucocorticoid receptor-mediated gene expression.
- Drug class: Corticosteroid (Glucocorticoid).
- Clinical use: Treatment of allergic diseases, autoimmune disorders, inflammatory conditions, and certain hematologic malignancies.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: The dosage should be individualized according to the disease and patient response. Adults typically receive 5–60 mg daily.
Time: Take orally, preferably in the morning after meals. Do not discontinue long-term treatment abruptly.
Instructions for use: Swallow the tablets with water. Reduce the dose gradually after prolonged therapy under medical supervision.
Interaction: Prednisone may interact with CYP3A4 modulators, antidiabetic agents, anticoagulants, NSAIDs, diuretics, and live vaccines.
Side effects: Common adverse reactions include increased infection risk, hyperglycemia, gastrointestinal irritation, hypertension, osteoporosis, insomnia, and adrenal suppression.
