Indication & Scope
JinLuo® Carvedilol Tablets indicates for the treatment of adult essential hypertension. It is also used for the clinical treatment of congestive heart failure to improve cardiac function and clinical symptoms of patients.
- Mechanism: Carvedilol is a non-selective dual alpha and beta adrenergic receptor blocker. It blocks beta receptors to reduce heart rate and myocardial oxygen consumption, blocks alpha receptors to dilate peripheral blood vessels, reduce vascular resistance and lower blood pressure. It also inhibits myocardial fibrosis, improves ventricular remodeling and enhances cardiac systolic and diastolic functions in heart failure patients.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Initiate with low dose for gradual titration. Hypertension initial dose is 12.5mg once daily; heart failure treatment requires ultra-low initial dose with slow adjustment under medical supervision.
Time: Take orally with food twice daily at fixed morning and evening time.
Instructions for use: Take the tablet whole with water after meals to reduce orthostatic hypotension risk. Strictly follow gradual dose adjustment rules, and sudden drug withdrawal is prohibited.
Interaction: Combined with other antihypertensive drugs enhances hypotensive effect. Concomitant use with antiarrhythmic drugs aggravates bradycardia and conduction block. Combined with hypoglycemic drugs may mask hypoglycemia symptoms.
Side effects:
1. Common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, bradycardia, hypotension and orthostatic intolerance.
2. Rare adverse reactions include dyspnea, gastrointestinal discomfort, abnormal liver function and allergic reactions.
