Indication & Scope
Gemcitabine Hydrochloride for Injection (Gemzar®) is a pyrimidine antimetabolite cytotoxic drug. After intracellular phosphorylation, it competes with deoxycytidine to incorporate into tumor cell DNA, blocks DNA chain extension and replication, induces tumor cell apoptosis and inhibits tumor growth.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Standard dosage regimen for NSCLC monotherapy: 1250 mg/m² intravenous infusion over 30 minutes on Day 1 and Day 8 of each 21-day cycle.
Time: Two mainstream cycles: 21-day cycle (Day1,8 administration) and 28-day cycle (Day1,8,15 administration); infusion lasts strictly 30 minutes, prolonged infusion increases toxicity risk.
Interaction: CoRadiotherapy combined use may induce severe radiation toxicity, interval separation is needed. mbined with platinum drugs will aggravate myelosuppression, regular blood routine monitoring required.
Side effects: Common reactions: Neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, fever, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, elevated liver transaminase, rash, dyspnea.
Important Notice
This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
