Toremifene Citrate Tablets (Fareston®) is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). It competitively binds estrogen receptors in breast tumor cells to block estrogen-mediated proliferation, while exerting weak estrogen-like protective effects on bone tissue.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Standard dosage regimen: 60 mg orally once daily, taken with or without food. Continuous administration until disease progression or unendurable adverse reactions.

 

Time: Fixed daily oral administration, no strict meal restriction.

 

Interaction: Estrogen preparations counteract curative effect, combined use forbidden. CYP3A4 inducers accelerate drug metabolism and reduce efficacy; close monitoring required.

 

Side effects: Common reactions: Hot flushes, vaginal discharge, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, arthralgia, rash.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
