Indication & Scope
Cosentyx® Secukinumab Injection provides treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis in adult patients.
- Mechanism: Fully human monoclonal antibody targeting IL-17A, specifically binding and neutralizing interleukin-17A, blocking core inflammatory signaling pathways of autoimmune skin and joint diseases.
- Drug class: IL-17A monoclonal antibody, biological targeted anti-inflammatory agent, autoimmune disease therapeutic biologic.
- Clinical use: First-line targeted biotherapy for moderate-severe psoriasis and axial spondyloarthritis unresponsive to conventional treatment.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Psoriasis standard dose: 300 mg subcutaneous injection at weeks 0,1,2,3,4, then 300 mg every 4 weeks; spondyloarthritis dose follows official specification.
Time: Fixed-cycle subcutaneous injection according to standardized treatment course.
Instructions for use: Allow the injection solution to return to room temperature before use; administer subcutaneously; screen active infection before treatment initiation.
Interaction: No obvious drug interaction with conventional immunosuppressants; avoid live vaccine vaccination during medication.
Side effects:
1. Common reactions include upper respiratory tract infection, headache and injection site reaction.
2. Rare reactions include fungal infection and inflammatory bowel disease exacerbation.
