Olanzapine, a multi-target atypical antipsychotic, antagonizes D2, 5-HT2A, H1 and M receptors. It suppresses limbic D2 overactivity to ease positive psychotic symptoms and modulates cortical 5-HT2A for negative/mood relief, featuring rare extrapyramidal reactions and strong sedation.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Initial 10 mg once daily, dose range 5–20 mg daily, adjust gradually according to clinical response.
Time: Can be taken with or without food; long-term maintenance therapy required for recurrent psychosis and bipolar disorder.
Interaction: CYP1A2 inducers (tobacco, carbamazepine) reduce olanzapine blood levels; CYP1A2 inhibitors (fluvoxamine) raise plasma concentration.
Side effects: Somnolence, weight gain, increased appetite, dry mouth, orthostatic hypotension.
Important Notice
This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
