Time: Treatment is generally initiated with monthly injections followed by individualized maintenance intervals based on visual acuity, OCT findings, and disease activity.

Instructions for use: For intravitreal use only and must be administered by a qualified ophthalmologist under aseptic conditions. Each vial is intended for single-eye, single-use administration. Perform appropriate ocular antisepsis and anesthesia before injection, and discard any unused solution immediately after use. Patients should be monitored for intraocular pressure elevation and signs of endophthalmitis following injection.

Interaction: No clinically significant systemic drug interactions have been established. Concurrent use with other intravitreal anti-VEGF agents is generally not recommended because the safety and efficacy of combination therapy have not been established.

Side effects: Common adverse reactions include conjunctival hemorrhage, transient increased intraocular pressure, eye pain, vitreous floaters, vitreous detachment, corneal abrasion, blurred vision, blepharitis, dry eye, and photophobia. Serious ocular adverse reactions include endophthalmitis, retinal detachment, retinal pigment epithelial tear, traumatic cataract, and permanent vision loss. Rare systemic adverse reactions include headache, nasopharyngitis, arthralgia, hypertension, arterial thromboembolic events, myocardial infarction, stroke, anemia, and hypersensitivity reactions.
