Indication & Scope
Repatha® is a prescription PCSK9 inhibitor indicated, in combination with diet and other lipid-lowering therapies, to reduce LDL cholesterol in adults with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia, including patients who are statin-intolerant or inadequately controlled with statins. - Drug class: PCSK9 inhibitor (human monoclonal antibody).
- Clinical use: Treatment of hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, ASCVD risk reduction, and homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia.
