YiLiKang® Pixavir Marboxil Capsules treats uncomplicated acute influenza type A and type B in adolescents aged 12 years and above and adult patients.
- Mechanism: Novel cap-dependent endonuclease inhibitor. It blocks viral RNA polymerase activity of influenza A/B strains, suppresses viral genome transcription and replication, rapidly reduces viral load and shortens symptomatic duration within 48 hours of flu symptom onset.
- Drug class: Oral single-dose influenza antiviral cap-dependent endonuclease inhibitor.
- Clinical use: Monotherapy for uncomplicated seasonal influenza A/B infection; administered as one single oral dose to cut fever and respiratory symptom duration without multi-day dosing regimens.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Single one-time oral dose of 80 mg capsule for patients with body weight ≥80 kg; single 40 mg capsule for patients weighing 40–79 kg.
Time: Administer as a single oral dose within maximum 48 hours after first influenza symptom appearance, can be taken with or without food.
Instructions for use: Swallow full capsule whole with plain water; avoid co-ingestion of polyvalent cation-containing supplements within 4 hours before or after dosing; no repeated doses required for standard uncomplicated flu.
Interaction: Calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc oral supplements and antacids reduce gastrointestinal absorption and lower antiviral efficacy; separate administration by minimum 4 hours.
Side effects:
1. Common mild adverse reactions: headache, mild diarrhea, nausea, nasopharyngitis.
2. Rare severe hypersensitivity risks: urticaria, anaphylactic shock, erythema multiforme rash.
