lvmince relmapirazin injection 7ml 130

Description

 Indication & Scope

LvMinCe® is a prescription fluorescent diagnostic agent indicated for use with the MediBeacon Transdermal GFR (TGFR) Measurement System to assess glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in adult patients.

  • Mechanism: Relmapirazin is a non-radioactive fluorescent tracer that is freely filtered by the glomeruli without tubular secretion, tubular reabsorption, or metabolism. Following intravenous administration, the TGFR device continuously detects fluorescence decay through the skin to calculate measured GFR (mGFR) in real time.
  • Drug class: Fluorescent diagnostic agent.
  • Clinical use: Real-time assessment of glomerular filtration rate (GFR) using the TGFR Measurement System.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: The recommended dose is 7 mL (130.2 mg) administered as a single intravenous injection in conjunction with the MediBeacon Transdermal GFR (TGFR) Measurement System.

Time: Administer by intravenous injection over approximately 30–60 seconds after the TGFR sensor has been properly positioned and baseline calibration has been completed.

Instructions for use: Relmapirazin must be used exclusively with the MediBeacon TGFR Measurement System. Warm the solution to room temperature before administration and avoid extravasation, as leakage may interfere with fluorescence signal acquisition and compromise GFR measurement accuracy. The product is not intended for use as a standalone diagnostic test and should be interpreted together with the patient’s clinical findings.

Interaction: Relmapirazin is not metabolized, has minimal plasma protein binding, and is eliminated unchanged by glomerular filtration. No clinically significant drug-drug interactions have been identified.

Side effects: Adverse reactions are uncommon and generally mild, including headache, transient blood pressure fluctuations, and injection-site reactions. No serious treatment-related adverse reactions have been reported in clinical studies.

FAQ

What is LvMinCe® used for?

LvMinCe® is used with the MediBeacon TGFR Measurement System to assess glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in adult patients.

Is Relmapirazin a therapeutic drug?

No. It is a fluorescent diagnostic agent used for kidney function assessment.

How does Relmapirazin work?

After intravenous administration, Relmapirazin is freely filtered by the kidneys without metabolism, and the TGFR device measures fluorescence decay transdermally to calculate real-time GFR.

How is LvMinCe® administered?

It is administered as a single intravenous injection together with the TGFR Measurement System.
