Mirtazapine belongs to NaSSA antidepressants, which blocks presynaptic α2 autoreceptors to facilitate the release of norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain. It alleviates depression and relieves insomnia and anxiety accompanied by depressive disorders.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: 15–30 mg once daily before bedtime; maximum daily dose 45 mg. Adjust dose after 2–4 weeks if efficacy is insufficient, swallow tablets whole without chewing.
Time: Long-term maintenance therapy prevents depressive relapse; taper dosage gradually before discontinuation to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
Interaction: It does not strongly inhibit CYP450 enzymes with fewer drug interactions. Combined serotonergic agents may induce serotonin syndrome; MAOIs are prohibited for simultaneous administration.
Side effects: Drowsiness, increased appetite, weight gain, dry mouth, dizziness.
Important Notice
This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
