TianLong® Metronidazole and Chlorhexidine Lotion serves as an antibacterial and anti‑inflammatory topical vaginal lotion, for vaginitis caused by bacteria, trichomonas and mould pathogens.
- Mechanism: Metronidazole exerts antibacterial and anti‑protozoal effect against anaerobe and trichomonas. Chlorhexidine gluconate provides broad‑spectrum bacteriostatic effect for vaginal local mucosa. Combined components reduce local pathogenic microorganism load and relieve inflammatory reaction.
- Drug class: Compound topical gynecological anti‑infective rinse preparation.
- Clinical use: Local vaginal lavage for bacterial, trichomonal and mycotic vaginitis.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Appropriate dilution of stock lotion according to package insert before local lavage.
Time: Topical vaginal lavage once to two times daily.
Instructions for use: Only for external vaginal lavage, strictly forbid oral drinking. Follow dilution specification. Do not arbitrarily increase lotion concentration. Avoid contact with eye mucosa.
Interaction: Concurrent other intravaginal drug application without medical advice may alter local mucosal environment. Avoid alcoholic beverage during metronidazole‑contained lotion usage for disulfiram‑like‑reaction risk.
Side effects: Local vaginal mucosa irritation, burning sensation or pruritus may emerge. Rare systemic adverse events for topical lavage route.
