How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Administer by intravenous infusion. The dose and infusion rate should be individualized according to the patient’s fluid deficit, electrolyte status, and clinical condition.
Time: Infuse at an appropriate rate under medical supervision. Slower infusion is recommended for elderly patients or those with cardiac or renal impairment.
Instructions for use: For intravenous use only. Monitor serum electrolytes, acid-base balance, urine output, and fluid status during treatment.
Interaction: Avoid mixing with incompatible alkaline solutions or medications that may cause calcium precipitation. Monitor electrolytes when used with diuretics or potassium-containing products.
Side effects: Possible adverse reactions include fluid overload, electrolyte disturbances, nausea, headache, infusion-site reactions, and, rarely, metabolic alkalosis or hyperlactatemia in susceptible patients.
