Recommended Dose: Apply 1 patch locally once daily. The listed maximum daily amount is 8 patches.
Time: Once every 24 hours; replace the patch according to the product instructions.
Instructions for use: Remove the protective backing and apply the adhesive side directly to the affected area. Avoid damaged skin. If burning, itching, redness or other significant skin reactions occur, discontinue use and clean the application site. During treatment and for 2 weeks after treatment, the treated area should be protected from sunlight because of the risk of photosensitivity. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, consult a healthcare professional.
Interaction: Other medicines may interact with ketoprofen. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before combining it with other medications, particularly other NSAIDs or anti-inflammatory/analgesic medicines.
Side effects: Possible adverse effects include localized rash, skin redness and itching. Larger amounts may cause gastrointestinal irritation. Photosensitivity reactions are also an important precaution with topical ketoprofen.
