Recommended Dose: The standard starting dose for adults is 2.5 mg taken orally once daily. Dose adjustment is allowed under specialist supervision based on individual sleep response and tolerance, and the maximum daily dose should not exceed 2.5 mg.

Time: Take the capsule on an empty stomach immediately before bedtime. Avoid administration with food or within 2 hours after meals, as food will delay its onset of action. The total treatment course should not exceed 4 weeks.

Instructions for use:

1. Swallow the hard capsule whole with plain water; do not crush, split or chew the contents.

2. Only use it for short-term management of insomnia as prescribed by psychiatrists or sleep physicians.

3. Gradually taper the dose when discontinuing treatment to avoid rebound insomnia; abrupt cessation is prohibited.

4. Avoid operating machinery, driving or performing concentration-demanding tasks after intake due to sedative effects.

Interaction:

1. Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors/inducers may alter blood drug concentration, so co-administration needs strict medical monitoring.

2. Combined use with opioids, other sedatives or central depressants will raise risks of deep sedation, respiratory suppression and even coma, which is contraindicated in most cases.

3. It has low interaction risks with common antihypertensives, antidepressants and hypoglycemic agents, but clinical evaluation is still required before combined medication.

4. Alcohol will amplify its central inhibitory effect, alcoholic drinks are forbidden during the whole treatment period.

Side effects:

1. Common: Mild drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, nausea, fatigue.
2. Uncommon: Dizziness, nightmares, slight gait unsteadiness.
