Indication & Scope
Methylphenidate Hydrochloride blocks dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake transporters in central prefrontal cortex to elevate synaptic monoamine levels, improving sustained attention and inhibiting impulsive, hyperactive behaviors. It adopts OROS osmotic pump technology to realize 12-hour stable slow drug release for once-daily administration.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Patients ≥6 years old: Once daily oral administration in the morning, swallow whole without crushing or splitting. Initial dose 18mg daily; adjust by 18mg weekly based on symptom control, maximum daily dose 54mg for children, 72mg for adolescents, 108mg for adults.
Time: Take with or without food, avoid evening intake to prevent insomnia.
Interaction: MAO inhibitors trigger hypertensive crisis; tricyclic antidepressants, SSRIs enhance central nervous stimulation; antihypertensive drugs’ hypotensive effect is weakened. CYP450 inhibitors elevate blood drug concentration.
Side effects: Headache, insomnia, decreased appetite, dry mouth, stomach discomfort, tachycardia.
Important Notice
This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
